BODY LANGUAGE

In the word there are a lot of gestures that when we do them we have to be careful because can change meaning according to culture and you,accidentally,can offend someone. So some gestures are common in some countries but not in others.

Here are some examples: the classic horn that in Italy,Spain and South America means that your partner is infaithul to you,in the Philippines means"I love you"; 

the typical Italian gesture to say "what do you want" in Spain means "we eat?" while in Egypt it is used to say it will only serve one minute; 

the"V" sign made with the index finger and the middle finger cam means victory if the back of the hand is turned to the person that doing the gesture,while if he is facing the interlocutor it's a sign of eviction:

in Italy blush your nose is allowed,but discretely while in Japan and Turkey is considered disrespectful and vulgar.

THEODORE AND HER FOLLOWERS
"Theodore and her followers" is a large mosaic located in the Basilica of San Vital in Raven. Theodore was the most important Byzantine Empress and she was married with the Justinian Emperor. In this mosaic the figures are flat, with no thickness. It isn't a real scene but express,symbolically,the union between the Byzantine Empire and the Church of Raven, demonstrating the devotion of Theodore to Christianity.
Theodore wears expensive and elegant dresses,a large crown decorated with precious stones and jewelry of every type and colour that seem very expansive.She has dark but bright eyes and nose long but not too much,the mouth red and has white face like snow. Her face is still and beautiful and the expression is serious.

THE NEWTOWN MASSACRE

On December 14th, 2012 a boy of 20 years called Adam Lonza,entered in a Elementary School in Newtown and murdered 20 children and 6 school administrator. He was armed with a semi-automatic rifle and two semi-automatic pistols. Before the massacre he killed his mother and after the massacre he killed himself. Adam Lonza suffered from anxiety and had been diagnosed with a personality disorder related to autism. This attacks in USA are very common because if a people want buy a gun go in a gun shop and buy the arms. The FBI do a "back-ground check" to the people that wants buy guns but the problem is that the FBI's database contains very little information about the people, and often the bad people buy the arms from another private person or on Internet.

In my opinion the legal sale of the arms is a ruin for the population.

BLACK HISTORY MONTH

Black History Month,also known as African-American History month in America, is an annual observance in the United States,Canada,and the United Kingdom for remember the important people and the events in the history of the African Diaspora. It is celebrated annually in the USA and Canada in February and in the United Kingdom in October.

MARTIN LUTHER KING Jr.

Martin Luther King Jr.(1929-1968) was a Baptist minister and social activist who played a key role in the American civil right movement. He hoped that America and the world could become a colourblind society where race would not impact a person's civil rights. In his first major civil rights action, Martin Luther King Jr.,led the Montgomery Bus Boycott. This started when Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat an a bus to a white man. So,Martin helped to organize a boycott of the public transportation on system. He was arrested and his house was bombed.

AN INTERNET PHENOMENON

Today a lot of people spend their free time on Internet, especially on social networking. In my country the most popular social networkings are, Instagram,Twitter,and Whatsapp. The social where I spend more time is Instagram, it was born in October,2010 and the founders are Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger, it is an online photo and video sharing social networking service. It allows users to take pictures and videos, apply digital filters and share them to their followers. A feature is that it confines photos to a square shape, similar to Kodak Instamatic.                                                             On April 9,2012 Mark Zuckerberg announced the acquisition of Instagram by Facebook, for about US $ 1 billion.  Instagram became very popular, in 2012 it reached 25 million of users. A lot of teenagers use this social networking and they invite a lot of friends to use Instagram. In this social networking when you published a photo you can add hashtag (#) to make them easily searchable. A lot of teenagers make the competition to see who has the more like and more followers. Recently came out a new way to publish photos called "Instagram stories" when you can publish photos and the people can see tour photos or videos only for 24 hours and you can see who see your photos. Also a lot of VIP people use this social networking to make participant their fans of their life.
